Feedback Unit 2

Hi Kaela,

Thank you for your work on the website section, Middle Childhood. Overall, I think your website section looks great and is easy to understand. All four topic areas are addressed. I see where you combined the social and emotional section. I do understand why you did that as both are so closely related. I personally felt like psychological, social, and emotional factors were all so interrelated that it was difficult to distinguish among them while completing my section.  I thought your graphics supplemented the written material you presented. I do think your website section is beneficial to healthcare providers as you point out implications for care.

I do have a few suggestions for feedback for you that I will list below.

1.     Some graphics were difficult to read due to the size. I suggest making those graphics with writing larger for easier reading for the reader.  The quality of the graphics was great, and I thought they were very appropriate to your topic.

2.     The next few suggestions are grammatical errors that I found. I understand it is not easy to catch mistakes when you have been looking at the same thing for a while. I utilize Grammarly and have found it very helpful.

§  The word therapist should be plural in the first paragraph of your implications section.

§  When citing Bennett et al. a year is missing.

§  A comma is missing after internalize emotions in the second paragraph of the social and emotional section.

§  I believe there is a missing verb or sentence could use re-wording in the second sentence of the paragraph beginning with emotional disclosures.

3.     You could include some basic definitions for psychological, social, and emotional factors to set the stage.  I found a short video that describes all three components.
